Most of the victims were retired officers, including an elderly woman hit in the face by shrapnel. Monday’s blast took place at 10am in the dispensary's waiting room for commissioned officers, known as the Wongsuwon room. Several glass partitions were shattered in the blast, which emitted smoke but no flames.
